II am passionate about flowers and plants!
As a people’s person I love working with clients while creating one of a kind art with my flowers. Managing events is another area where I thrive.
Growing up in a large Italian family, weddings were my inspiration and family parties were my training grounds. My favourite thing in the world was to decorate, set the tables and spend hours arranging different blooms and looking through flower arranging books and magazines. My grandmother was an expert gardener with over 100 varieties of roses and a large fruit orchard. She would arrange flowers daily from her large garden. This inspired my Mother to become an avid gardener and floral artist, In turn, she passed this love and talent on to me.
After studying event management, Landscaping and floristry my hobby grew into a full blown passion. When my dear mother passed away in 2014 I decided to dedicate 100% of my time to my craft, in honour of her, and out of this The Flower Place was born.

Alex - The Green Fingers
I developed my passion for plants and landscaping at an early age and have spent most of my free time working in the garden and developing my love for indigenous plants, especially succulents and cacti.
Air plants, orchids and carnivorous plants are another big passion of mine, as well as soil sciences which includes making the specific soil mixes for a variety of rare plants.
I would describe myself as an enthusiastic entrepreneur.
I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa and because of that I have developed a love for local business.
Business is a passion for me and I get great satisfaction from seeing a job well done.
My skills would involve Project management, Communications, Negotiations, general Landscaping and growing of rare plants.
